Context

The client collected through several providers whose API contracts, webhooks and transaction statuses were not aligned. Each new rail added debt and incidents that were hard to explain to the business.

Approach

We put a single integration layer in place: idempotency, retries, webhook normalisation and a shared state model. Providers become adapters, not the core of the system.
